This morning, July 7, Nghia Dung Karate-Do Cam Lo Martial Arts School (Cam Lo District, Quang Tri Province) held a ceremony to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the founding of the school on July 9 (1994 - 2024). Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Cam Lo District Nguyen Ky Ngoc; Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Quang Tri Newspaper Nguyen Ty; Head of Nghia Dung Karate-Do Vietnam Nguyen Dung Chinh; Chairman of the Provincial Karate Federation, Head of Nghia Dung Karate-Do Quang Tri Branch Duong Manh Hung attended.

Exactly 30 years ago, on July 9, 1994, the first Karate-Do class of Cam Lo district was opened in Bac Binh village, Cam Tuyen commune with 20 students participating in training under the responsibility of Coach Thai Tang Thien. In 1995, due to the increasing demand for training, the class moved to practice at Cam Lo district Post Office, the center of the district. In 1997, the class was moved to 3/22 Ly Thuong Kiet street, Cam Lo town, which is the current main location of the martial arts school. Currently, the martial arts school has 6 clubs with 350 students practicing regularly.

After 30 years of construction and development, Nghia Dung Karate-Do Cam Lo has trained 113 black belts, many of whom have been practicing since the beginning, have grown up on the path of martial arts as well as developed their careers in their hometown and many provinces and cities nationwide, and have made many contributions to society and the Karate-Do movement. The school always focuses on and performs well the work of fostering and providing professional training for martial artists to have the confidence and courage to participate in Karate competitions in and outside the province, achieving many high results.
Notably, from 2006 until now, the martial arts school has always ranked first and second in the province; the total number of medals won through tournaments is 231 medals of all kinds, including 69 gold medals, 73 silver medals, and 89 bronze medals. The martial arts school always values martial arts, guiding martial artists to a calm and composed demeanor, an iron will, and compassion, fairness, and nobility; helping martial artists to train their health, willpower, and moral qualities, and fostering in martial artists necessary qualities such as: discipline, self-confidence, endurance, the spirit of overcoming difficulties, modesty, and a calm and composed demeanor in the face of all challenges, aiming to guide martial artists to truth, goodness, and beauty.
In addition, the martial arts school regularly organizes extracurricular activities, participates in social work, environmental protection, humanitarian and charitable activities... to help martial arts students develop a sense of concern and responsibility towards the community.

On this occasion, the Chairman of Cam Lo District People's Committee, Grandmaster Nghia Dung Karate-Do Vietnam, President of the Provincial Karate Federation, Head of the Nghia Dung Karate-Do Quang Tri branch commended and rewarded many groups and individuals who have made positive contributions to the development of the Karate-Do movement. According to the belt and rank regulations of Nghia Dung Karate-Do, Grandmaster Nghia Dung Karate-Do Vietnam Nguyen Dung Chinh conferred the 6th degree Black Belt on two martial artists: Duong Manh Hung and Thai Tang Thien.
