He was born into a poor family in Duc Tho, at the age of 17, the young man Tran Duc Thiep left his hometown Yen Ho to start a new journey of studying and researching at home and abroad and began to devote his life to the field of Nuclear Physics... In 2011, Professor Tran Duc Thiep was honored to receive the Vietnam Talent Award in the field of natural sciences. This was not only a joy for him personally but also for the whole of Ha Tinh.
With Professor, Doctor of Science Nguyen Tu Cuong - despite his old age, he still continuously researches in the field of mathematics... He is one of two children of a poor intellectual family in Can Loc district who received the Ho Chi Minh award... his brother is a famous nuclear physicist of Vietnam - Professor Nguyen Dinh Tu... The family's homeland, theeducation and the spirit of overcoming difficulties of his father in the poor hometown of Song Loc in the past... have passed on, trained, and created a new generation of Ha Tinh, Professor, Doctor Nguyen Tu Cuong and his children and grandchildren - natural scientists right in the heart of Hanoi.
