On October 19, in Abyei (Africa), the Vietnam Engineering Team No. 3 held a meeting with 18 officials and members of the Women's Association to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2024). and 14 years of Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20, 2010 - October 20, 2024).

Attending the program were comrades in the Party Committee, the Command Board of Engineer Team No. 3, commanders of the Sub-Teams; the Vietnamese Working Group and female representatives of countries at the United Nations Interim Security Mission in Abyei (UNISFA), along with all officers and members of the Women's Association of Engineer Team No. 3.
This is a meaningful activity to raise awareness and arouse pride among female cadres and members about the position, role and contributions of Vietnamese women in the cause of national construction and defense; affirm the position, role and tasks of the Vietnam Women's Union in the process of Vietnam's revolution, especially in the cause of innovation, industrialization, modernization of the country and international integration.
At the meeting, Major Vu Thi Hue - Head of the Women's Association of the 3rd Engineering Team, on behalf of the Executive Committee, read a speech reviewing the traditions of the Vietnam Women's Union, the great contributions of Vietnamese women in the cause of national liberation and national construction, creating the traditional identity of the Vietnamese people in general and the tradition of "Heroic, indomitable, loyal, and responsible" of Vietnamese women in particular.

Vietnamese women are increasingly “Dynamic, creative, knowledgeable, compassionate”, interested in social benefits and actively contributing to the cause of peace , progress and development of the international community. In particular, female soldiers of the 3rd Engineer Corps continue to promote the tradition of “Opening the way to victory” of the heroic Vietnamese Engineer Corps, uniting, supporting and helping each other to successfully complete all assigned tasks, contributing to building a “Comprehensively strong”, exemplary and typical unit.
Speaking to congratulate and encourage the female soldiers, Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Hao - Commander of the Vietnamese forces participating in peacekeeping activities at the UNISFA Mission, Captain of the 3rd Engineer Team, praised the spirit of solidarity, overcoming difficulties, closely following the political tasks of the unit, doing a good job of taking care of the health and ensuring the lives of the soldiers; at the same time, actively and effectively participating in sports, cultural and artistic activities, sharing experiences in building a prosperous and happy family.

Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Hao hopes that in the coming time, the women in the Association will continue to make efforts to both fulfill their roles as women in the family and perform well all assigned tasks in each position; actively study to improve their qualifications in all aspects, be dynamic, creative, participate in activities of agencies and organizations and successfully complete the task of participating in peacekeeping activities at the UNISFA Mission.
On the eve of October 20, the Women's Association actively participated in movement activities on comrades' birthdays, visited and gave notebooks and pens to orphans at Abyei Mission.
After the meeting, delegates and international guests participated in the Vietnamese Cultural and Culinary Exchange Festival. The performances were elaborately staged, joyful and exciting, with a variety of dishes and drinks imbued with Vietnamese culture./.
