- At 3:30 p.m. on June 5, more than 10,900 candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year completed the second exam (English). According to the Departmentof Education and Training, the exam took place safely, seriously, and in accordance with regulations.
This year's English exam has a total of 40 questions. They are all familiar types of questions that test grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, sentence writing... but with increased difficulty and classification.
According to the group of reporters of the Provincial Newspaper and Radio and Television Station at some examination sites in Lang Son city and the districts of Cao Loc, Loc Binh, Chi Lang, the majority of candidates left the examination room in a relaxed mood after finishing the exam. The majority of candidates said that the exam was not too difficult but had high differentiation. Many candidates will easily get about 6 to 7 points.
Also according to a quick report from the Department of Education and Training, 25 candidates were absent from the English exam, including 1 candidate who was hospitalized for surgery before the exam, 6 candidates who did not submit their application, 18 candidates who dropped out of the exam, and no candidates who violated exam regulations.
According to the plan, tomorrow (June 6), candidates will continue to take the Math exam with a time limit of 120 minutes. In the afternoon, candidates taking the entrance exam for grade 10 at Chu Van An High School for the Gifted will take the specialized subjects with a time limit of 150 minutes.
