There are five competitions held at the 2025 Asian Mind Sports Games, including chess, Chinese chess, Go, bridge and Rubik's cube. This is the first time this game is held.

This morning (November 15), Le Tuan Minh won the gold medal in the rapid chess event. He was undefeated after 9 games, including 7 wins and 2 draws, earning a total of 8 points.
Le Tuan Minh (Elo 2,499) ranked above first seed Megaranto Susanto (Indonesia, Elo 2,534) and second seed Tin Jingyao (Singapore, Elo 2,504). Megaranto Susanto had 7.5 points and won the silver medal. Tin Jingyao had 7 points and won the bronze medal.
Number one seed Megaranto Susanto was defeated by Le Tuan Minh in game 5, while Tin Jingyao drew with the Vietnamese player in game 6.
On his journey to the championship in the rapid chess event, Le Tuan Minh also excellently defeated two strong Chinese players, Zhao Chenxi and Dai Changren, in games 7 and 8 respectively.
After winning the gold medal in rapid chess, Le Tuan Minh will continue to aim for the gold medal in blitz chess at this year's Asian Mind Sports Games. Le Tuan Minh is the only representative of Vietnam participating in chess.
