Closing the first round of the SEA V.League 2024 women's volleyball tournament, the main striker Tran Thi Thanh Thuy did not go with the team to Thailand to compete in the second round. The 1997-born player returned to Binh Duong to visit her family before traveling to Turkey to join the Kuzeyboru club. In her second time competing abroad, Thanh Thuy received great expectations from fans. Thanh Thuy played very well when playing for the PFU Blue Cats club in the Japanese national championship. Regarding Thanh Thuy going to Türkiye to compete, coach Tuan Kiet once shared that 2024 is the year that Thanh Thuy will make great progress. This is in line with her wish to compete in Europe.
