Lac Duong: Many activities in response to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day

Standing Deputy Secretary of Lac Duong District Party Committee Ya Tiong and Vice Chairman of Lac Duong District People's Committee Cil Poh presented souvenir flags to the teams participating in the Storytelling Contest based on books.

On Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day April 21, the Center for Culture, Information and Sports in coordination with the Departmentof Education and Training, Lac Duong District Youth Union organized the 2025 Children's Storytelling Contest based on books with the theme Good books you need to read.

There are stories about the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.

12 teams of students from primary and secondary schools in the district participated in telling stories from books such as: Fables; fairy tales; stories about cultural celebrities, national heroes, heroic martyrs in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland; stories about Uncle Ho with children; homeland, country, family, friendship; examples of good people and good deeds in work and study; sovereignty of the country's seas and islands...

Along with that are stories about the shining examples of Vietnamese youth in studying and working; the cultural beauty of people in life and the surrounding environment; criticizing backwardness and ugliness to move towards beauty...

Schools in the district organize Art Book Stacking Competition

In addition, schools in the district also organized many activities in response to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day such as: Book exhibition and introduction; Artistic book arrangement contest; book donation for schools and cultural houses in remote areas; building Green Library Model, Library Corner in classrooms...

Lac Duong district also promoted propaganda work in many forms such as on the radio system, visual propaganda about the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2025...
