Bank interest rates today June 11, 2025: Deposit term 1...

A survey of interest rates at commercial banks shows that the highest interest rate for 1-month savings is 4.5%/year, announced by Eximbank, applied to customers making online deposits for 1-2 months on weekends.

This is a rare savings interest rate in the context that very few banks list interest rates above 4%/year for 1-month term deposits.

Meanwhile, the ceiling interest rate prescribed by the State Bank for deposits with terms of less than 6 months is 4.75%/year.

However, the interest rate of 4.5%/year is only applied by Eximbank on weekends.

If customers deposit money on weekdays (from Monday to Friday), the 1-month savings interest rate listed by Eximbank is 4.3%/year. This is also the highest bank interest rate currently.

In addition, some banks also listed interest rates from 4%/year for 1-month online deposits, including: VCBNeo and Vikki Bank (4.15%/year); MBV and VietBank (4.1%/year), NCB (4%/year).

The remaining banks all listed deposit interest rates below 4%/year for a 1-month term.

Of which, BVBank and GPBank listed interest rates at 3.95%/year; Bac A Bank , MSB, OCB listed at 3.9%/year; HDBank at 3.85%/year, Nam A Bank at 3.8%/year.

KienLong Bank, VIB, Viet A Bank and VPBank all listed savings interest rates of 3.7%/year for 1-month online deposits, while LPBank is the only bank listing an interest rate of 3.6%/year.

BaoViet Bank, MB, SHB and TPBank all listed bank interest rates at 3.5%/year; PGBank listed 3.4%/year; while the interest rate for the same term at PVCombank, Sacombank and Saigonbank is 3.3%/year.

The remaining 3 banks listed interest rates above 3%/year for 1-month online savings deposits, including: Techcombank (3.25%/year), ABBank (3.2%/year) and ACB (3.1%/year).

The remaining banks only listed interest rates below 3%/year for this term. Of which, SeABank listed interest rates at 2.95%/year, Agribank at 2.4%/year, BIDV and VietinBank at 2%/year. Vietcombank and SCB even listed interest rates at only 1.6%/year for 1-month term deposits.

Since the beginning of June, GPBank is the first bank to increase deposit interest rates since the beginning of June.

There are two banks that have reduced deposit interest rates : LPBank (18-60 month term, with a reduction of 0.2%/year) and Bac A Bank (12-36 month term, with a reduction of 0.1%/year).
