Although banks have continuously reduced deposit interest rates since the end of February 2025, the "special interest rates" announced by banks for super VIP customers remain unchanged.

ABBank, PVCombank, Vikki Bank, ACB , HDBank and LPBank are banks that are maintaining special interest rates.

ABBank leads the market in special interest rates for super VIP customers, up to 9.65%/year when depositing for a 13-month term with an amount of VND 1,500 billion or more. Meanwhile, the normal mobilization interest rate for the same term listed by ABBank is only 5.3%/year.

PVCombank also listed a special interest rate of up to 9%/year, applied to 12 and 13 month term deposits. The condition to enjoy this interest rate is that customers must open a deposit account of at least 2,000 billion VND. This is the most difficult condition to meet in the current market.

At HDBank , special interest rates are applied for 12 and 13 month terms, respectively 7.7% and 8.1%/year. Conditions are individual customers receive interest at the end of the term and deposit a minimum amount of 500 billion VND.

Vikki Bank digital bank applies special interest rates for customers with 13-month term deposits, with deposit balances of VND 999 billion or more; 1.8% higher per year than the regular interest rate currently applied for the same term. The highest mobilization interest rate for special customers of Vikki Bank is 7.5% per year.

In addition, for individual customers who deposit for a term of 6-12 months and receive interest at the end of the term, Vikki Bank offers an additional interest rate of 0.05%/year for customers who deposit from 500 million to less than 1 billion VND; and an additional 0.1%/year for customers who deposit from 1 billion VND or more.

At LPBank , the highest interest rate at the counter is 5.5%/year. However, for deposits of 300 billion VND or more, the interest rate applied to customers receiving interest at the end of the term is 6.5%/year, receiving interest monthly is 6.3%/year, and receiving interest at the beginning of the term is 6.07%/year.

200 billion VND is the condition that ACB Bank offers to VIP customers if they want to receive the highest interest rate of 6%/year when depositing money for a 13-month term. In case customers receive interest monthly, the highest mobilization interest rate will be 5.9%/year.

In addition to the above special interest rate policy, some banks also offer much easier-to-meet policies. For example, SeABank offers an additional 0.5%/year interest rate for customers depositing from VND100 million for 12 and 13 months; VPBank offers an additional 0.1%/year interest rate for customers depositing from VND100 million for 1-36 months.

In addition, banks such as ACB, VPBank, Techcombank, Bac A Bank, Eximbank, OCB also maintain a ladder interest rate policy. With different deposit levels, customers will receive different deposit interest rates, the more you deposit, the more beneficial it is.

Since the beginning of May, two banks have increased deposit interest rates: Techcombank and Bac A Bank.

Meanwhile, MB is the only bank that has reduced deposit interest rates for all terms. Eximbank has reduced interest rates by 0.1-0.3%/year for most terms under 36 months, while increasing deposit interest rates for 36-month terms by 0.3%/year.
