Lam Dong province approves investment plan for Phan Thiet Airport.

On December 15th, the People's Committee of Lam Dong province announced that it had issued a decision approving the investment plan for the Phan Thiet Airport Project – civil aviation component, to be implemented in Mui Ne ward.

According to the decision, Phan Thiet Airport is planned to serve 4E-class aircraft, with an expected capacity of approximately 2 million passengers per year by 2030, operating both domestic and non-scheduled international flights.

The project aims to complete the aviation infrastructure network in accordance with the national plan, contributing to promoting socio -economic development and tourism, while ensuring national defense and security in the South Central region and Lam Dong province.

The project has a total land area of ​​approximately 74.6 hectares; the total estimated investment is over 3,797 billion VND, excluding compensation, support, and resettlement costs. The project's operating period is 50 years from the date the investor is approved.

According to the plan, the project implementation period is approximately 24 months from the date of issuance of the investment policy decision. The Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee requests relevant departments, agencies, and localities to coordinate closely to ensure progress and compliance with legal regulations during the project implementation.
