In preparation for the merger with Binh Thuan and Dak Nong provinces, the Lam Dong Provincial Department of Finance has planned to allocate office space and official housing in Da Lat city, anticipating the arrival of approximately 1,000 additional staff.

Regarding the office location, in addition to utilizing existing premises, the Department of Finance proposes leveraging several other facilities to enable immediate operation and minimize the need for lengthy major repairs.

Specifically, the office of the Delegation of the National Assembly and the People's Council of Lam Dong province will continue to be located at 2 Tran Hung Dao Street (Da Lat city), and the former office of the Department of Transport (22 Pasteur Street) will be added; the existing office of the People's Committee of Lam Dong province will be used, and an additional office will be located at 4 Tran Hung Dao Street (right next to the People's Committee of the province, currently the headquarters of the provincial associations and organizations).

Regarding the workplaces of departments and agencies, this includes the existing headquarters and the additional property at 8 Ba Thang Tu Street for the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.

At the same time, the Lam Dong Provincial Administrative Center is instructed to reclaim the entire 1,300m2 of leased space on the ground floor to supplement the available office space; and to renovate the roof area of the 5th floor of the 5-story building to add to the available office space.

Thus, the office space needs of the departments and agencies at this location are basically met.

For public service units and associations with a current staff of 1,295 people (with an expected actual reduction of 20%), they will be assigned to work at the current headquarters of the Da Lat City Administrative Center.

The units of the Fatherland Front and political organizations currently have 1,093 civil servants and employees who will continue to work at their existing headquarters.

Currently, the Provincial Party Committee Office is reviewing the situation to determine the appropriate location within the Party's authority. Based on the proposed additions after the review, the Department of Finance will advise on allocating one of the reserve locations to ensure sufficient space and meet working needs.

Regarding housing arrangements, according to the Department of Finance, there are currently approximately 2,200 officials, civil servants, and public employees in the two provinces of Dak Nong and Binh Thuan. After a 20% reduction in the number of civil servants, there are approximately 1,760 remaining, of which about 50% (880 people) have a need for housing.

The Lam Dong Provincial Department of Finance has also made plans to allocate vehicles, machinery, and equipment for work, using a total of 825 vehicles currently in operation.

The proposed arrangement for specialized vehicles is that the agency, organization, or unit that receives the assigned task will receive the corresponding asset to continue performing that task.

For vehicles used for general official duties, the units currently managing them will continue to manage, use, or allocate them to new administrative units (communes, wards) according to regulations.
