Mr. Tran Trong Dung, Vice President of Vietnam Journalists Association, in charge of the Southern region attended.

At the ceremony, delegates reviewed the glorious tradition of the country's press in general and the local press in particular. In any circumstances, the Vietnam Revolutionary Press always affirms to follow the path chosen by the Party, Uncle Ho and our People; performing the function of being the mouthpiece of the Party, the State, socio-political organizations and the forum of the People.

In line with the flow of national history and the Vietnamese revolutionary press, press agencies and journalists in Dak Nong have also made important contributions, promptly propagating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws into life...

The team of journalists in the province has made efforts and been responsible in providing timely, complete and comprehensive information and propaganda, contributing to the common achievements in the cause of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and promoting emulation and creative movements in the province.

During the renovation period, the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press in general and the Dak Nong provincial press in particular have grown remarkably in terms of scale, form and content of information transmission, in line with the trend of the times, both meeting the information needs of society and ensuring the essential requirements of the revolutionary cause.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Luu Van Trung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, shared that the 100th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press took place in a very special context, that is, the whole country is urgently carrying out the "revolution" in streamlining the organization of the political system, including the merger and consolidation of press agencies.

Particularly for provincial press, the merger of Newspapers, Radio and Television of the three provinces of Dak Nong, Lam Dong and Binh Thuan is a big challenge. This multi-layered merger creates certain changes in organizational structure, content strategy, human resource management, requiring a balance between maintaining relevance in the new regional identity.

Comrade Luu Van Trung suggested that each journalist must be stable in ideology, clearly identify each journalist and each press agency as the core force, taking the lead, maximizing their role in the context of merger, continuing to accompany the cause of building and developing the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press in the new era.

The press must continue to integrate into the flow of practical life, pioneer in propagating the Party's guidelines, communicating the State's policies, clearly demonstrating the role of leading ideology, orienting public opinion and accompanying the province's new steps, spreading confidence, arousing the spirit of solidarity to build a newly developed province, promising to be the dynamic center of the South Central Coast - Central Highlands.

Local press needs to be ready to act, comprehensively innovate thinking and methods of operation to meet task requirements; improve professional capacity, multimedia journalism skills, master digital technology and in-depth knowledge of new fields of the province in each cadre, reporter, journalist and in the operation of the press agency apparatus.

At the ceremony, veteran journalists, press agency leaders and young reporters had the opportunity to share experiences, express their passion for the profession, and wish to continue to accompany and vividly reflect the development of the province.

Recognizing the contributions of press agencies and journalists in the province, on the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, Dak Nong provincial leaders presented beautiful flowers to congratulate press agencies; representatives of central and non-provincial press agencies with representative offices, permanent agencies and registered permanent operations in the province.
