Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi awarded certificates of merit to units with outstanding achievements in overcoming the landslide incident at Mimosa Pass, an important gateway to the administrative-political center of Lam Dong province, ensuring traffic re-opening at 6:00 p.m. on November 30.
On November 30, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi inspected the actual construction work to fix the landslide on Mimosa Pass.
Informing the Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, the construction unit said that after more than 10 days of urgent construction, the temporary road has been basically completed. On the morning of November 30, the units began paving the roadbed.
The work to fix the landslide on Mimosa Pass has been completed on schedule. The construction unit guarantees that by 6 p.m. this afternoon (November 30), traffic will be open and vehicles will be able to move safely, contributing to reducing congestion and stabilizing people's lives.
At the scene, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi praised the spirit of urgency, responsibility and efforts to overcome difficulties in overcoming the Mimosa Pass landslide of Project Management Board 85 ( Ministry of Construction ) and Hung Nguyen Limited Liability Company. This contributed to ensuring smooth traffic on this important route.

As reported by Nhan Dan Newspaper, on the evening of November 19, on Mimosa Pass, Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat, a serious landslide occurred. The entire road surface was broken, about 50m wide, about 30m deep, and the length of the slide was about 100m. The Mimosa Pass landslide caused the vital traffic route into the center of Da Lat to be cut off.
After the incident, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi went to the scene to inspect and direct the remedial work.
At the scene, the Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee requested relevant units to concentrate maximum forces and means, immediately deploy solutions to quickly clear the route, ensuring traffic safety.
