The presentations and opinions at the conference stated that, along with the history and culture of Vietnamese Buddhism, Ha Tinh Buddhism was formed very early, in which many bases show that Quynh Vien Pagoda located on Long Ngam Mountain in Thach Hai Commune (Thach Ha - Ha Tinh) is the place where the monk Phat Quang from India first spread Buddhism to Vietnam for Buddhist Chu Dong Tu, nearly 2,200 years ago.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Quang Hong - working at the Faculty of History, Vinh University, presented a paper: "Ha Tinh Buddhism in the flow of Vietnamese Buddhist cultural history".

At the conference, delegates listened to 5 presentations and many opinions from scholars, monks, and Zen masters across the country. Most of the presentations and opinions focused on presenting arguments, evidence, and scientific evidence to affirm that Quynh Vien Pagoda located on Long Ngam Mountain, next to Cua Sot (in Thach Hai Commune, Thach Ha District, Ha Tinh Province) is the birthplace of Vietnamese Buddhism today.

Many historical documents and traces left behind prove that nearly 2,200 years ago, the Indian monk Phat Quang, while preaching to Asian countries, first stopped here and spread Buddhism to the first Buddhist of Vietnam, Chu Dong Tu.
