More than 900 candidates registered for the entrance exam to grade 10 of Ha Tinh Specialized High School

(Baohatinh.vn) - This year, the number of candidates registering for the entrance exam to Ha Tinh Specialized High School is 200 less than last year, which means the candidates have more chances of being admitted.

According to information from the Department of Education and Training, the 10th grade entrance exam for Ha Tinh Specialized High School for the 2025-2026 school year had 914 candidates registered to take the exam, a decrease of more than 200 candidates compared to the previous school year.

This school year, the enrollment target for grade 10 at Ha Tinh Specialized High School remains the same: 13 classes with 455 students. Of which: 2 Math classes; 2 English classes; 1 class each for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Informatics, Literature, History, Geography, French, and Chinese. The number of students in each class is no more than 35.

With a total of 914 candidates registering for the exam, many of them registered for 2 specialized subjects, so the number of candidates registering for the exam was 943. Specifically: Math 169; Physics 88; Chemistry 87; Biology 74; Literature 119; English 220; Information Technology 70; History 63; Geography 53.

Although some subjects have quite high competition ratios such as: Literature 1:3.4; Physics 1:2.51; Chemistry 1:2.48... the number of candidates registering for the exam has decreased compared to before, so the chance of admission for candidates will be more open.

Secondary schools take advantage of the opportunity to review knowledge for 9th grade students before the exam.

Students taking the specialized exam will take Math, Literature, and English in the general entrance exam for grade 10 high school on June 3.

The specialized subjects will be tested on June 4, 2025, with a duration of 150 minutes. Accordingly, in the morning, students will take the exams in Math and Literature; in the afternoon, they will take the exams in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, Information Technology, History, and Geography.
