For the first time, Dung Quat Economic Zone has 2 large-scale urban projects.

On July 1, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha signed two Decisions: 1455/QD-TTg and 1456/QD-TTg, approving the investment policy of the Dung Quat Southeast New Urban Area Project - North and the Dung Quat Southeast New Urban Area Project - South.

The Dung Quat Southeast New Urban Area Project - North has a total area of about 1,320 hectares; the number of houses including villas and townhouses is about 1,668 units; 18-hole golf course; population is about 85,900 people; land fund for social housing development is nearly 31 hectares. The total investment capital of the project is about 27,000 billion VND, including compensation and resettlement support costs.

The Southeast Dung Quat New Urban Area Project - South has a total area of 1,377 hectares; the number of houses includes villas, 935 townhouses; 18-hole golf course; population of about 68,700 people; land fund for social housing development of more than 24 hectares. The total investment capital is about 27,500 billion VND, including compensation costs and resettlement support.

The investment objective is to build a new synchronous urban area including technical infrastructure system, social infrastructure, commercial housing area, park system, square, urban green trees, services, resort tourism, tourist accommodation facilities, golf course, park, ... to serve residential units and urban areas with the aim of forming a dynamic, modern coastal urban area, promoting socio -economic development.

For the first time in Dung Quat Economic Zone, there are 2 large-scale urban projects, spreading, bringing a new look to the Economic Zone.
