First time drones appear in Ha Long Bay

According to the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province, in 2024, 186 programs, events, and tourism stimulus activities will be organized in the province.

It is expected that for the first time, drone lights will appear on Ha Long Bay in the Ha Long Summer Carnival 2024 - the most important event of the 2024 Tourism Stimulus Program of Quang Ninh province.

The Ha Long Summer Carnival 2024 program, directed by the Provincial People's Committee and implemented by the Ha Long City People's Committee, will be held on April 30 and May 1 at Ocean Park, Bai Chay Ward, Ha Long City.

This is one of the special events in the series of activities of Ha Long Summer Tourism Week 2024, with the gathering of thousands of actors, professional artists, international art troupes, and artisans.

The program will use musical art elements, harmoniously combined with history and culture to highlight the values ​​of the World Natural Heritage Ha Long Bay; at the same time, apply the most modern technologies such as: drone lights, glowing models, combined with fireworks displays, mapping (digital chart design), Led technology, sound and light...

Ha Long Carnival – an annual event since 2007 – is a unique and attractive cultural and tourism brand of Quang Ninh, becoming a familiar and favorite meeting place for locals and tourists from all over.

Recently, the Standing Committee of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee requested the People's Committee of Ha Long City, the consulting unit, to continue perfecting the script ideas and content of the Program, ensuring it becomes more and more attractive.

Thereby, strongly spreading the image of Ha Long Bay with the 30-year journey recognized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as a World Natural Heritage, with values ​​of landscape, geology, geomorphology, biology, culture, history...; at the same time affirming the efforts of Quang Ninh province in always protecting, preserving, promoting and conserving the values ​​of the World Natural Heritage to domestic and foreign tourists.

The Ha Long Summer Carnival 2024 program needs to further highlight the values ​​of the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son, Kiep Bac Heritage Complex, which has been submitted by Vietnam to UNESCO for recognition as a World Heritage Site; 6 typical values ​​of Quang Ninh province "Beautiful nature, Unique culture, Civilized society, Transparent administration, Developed economy, Happy people" and core contents on building and promoting cultural values, human strength of Quang Ninh to become an endogenous source, driving force for rapid and sustainable development.

According to the Provincial People's Committee, in the second quarter of 2024, Quang Ninh province will organize nearly 50 cultural, sports and tourism programs and events at the international, national and provincial levels. Along with the Ha Long Carnival Program, there will also be the Bach Dang Traditional Festival, the OCOP Fair, and the 2024 Food Festival.

Localities in the province will organize many programs and activities to respond to and launch the Summer tourism season, contributing to completing the goal: by 2024, Quang Ninh will attract at least 17 million visitors, of which 3 million will be international visitors; total revenue from tourism will reach 39,100 billion VND./.
