Spreading the emulation movement "For the poor - Leaving no one behind"

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Head of the Central Emulation and Reward Committee Nguyen Anh Tuan said that the program aims to introduce and honor typical models, good and creative practices in poverty reduction when implementing Decision No. 90/QD-TTg dated January 18, 2022 of the Prime Minister on approving the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the 2021-2025 period and responding to the emulation movement "For the poor - No one is left behind"...

At the meeting, representatives of leaders of Ba Thuoc district (Thanh Hoa province); Vo Lao commune (Van Ban district, Lao Cai province); Tai Hoan Cooperative (Che Co village, Con Minh commune, Na Ri district, Bac Kan province); Mr. Le Minh Tho, Director of Trang An Ninh Binh One Member Co., Ltd.; Mrs. Nguyen Thi Mo's household (Lo Bao village, Noi Due commune, Tien Du district, Bac Ninh province)... exchanged and shared experiences in mobilizing and building economic development models to help escape poverty.

The representative of Ba Thuoc district shared that the district has developed more than 60 community accommodation facilities in the form of homestays, more than 100 households have indirectly benefited from participating in livestock farming, growing clean vegetables, weaving brocade and other services... providing for restaurants and serving tourists. It is expected that by 2025, the district will reduce the multidimensional poverty rate to 8.13%, becoming one of the first two districts in Thanh Hoa province to escape the list of poor districts.

A representative of Tai Hoan Cooperative (Che Co village, Con Minh commune, Na Ri district, Bac Kan province) said that the cooperative is currently cooperating with more than 2,000 households to grow cassava using advanced farming techniques, for high productivity and quality.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Mo (Lo Bao village, Noi Due commune, Tien Du district, Bac Ninh province) said that after her husband suddenly passed away in 2013, she raised 3 young children alone in difficult conditions. Thanks to the support of the government and the Social Policy Bank, in 2020, she borrowed capital to invest in livestock farming, gradually increased her income and voluntarily registered to escape poverty. By the end of 2022, her family had become a well-off household. Not only that, she also shared her production experiences and supported other poor households to escape poverty.

At the exchange program, moved by the example of overcoming difficulties and striving to rise up of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Mo's family (Lo Bao village, Noi Due commune, Tien Du district, Bac Ninh province), Mr. Le Minh Tho, Director of Trang An Ninh Binh Company Limited, presented Mrs. Mo's family with a savings book worth 5 million VND, to encourage her family to continue to try.

The exchange session truly spread a positive message about the spirit of striving and creativity in poverty reduction; acknowledged the great contributions of individuals and collectives in the patriotic emulation movement "For the poor - Leaving no one behind". Thereby, strengthening people's trust in the policies of the Party and State, adding motivation for the movement to spread more strongly and practically.
