Spreading the spirit of solidarity and friendship at the 2025 International Food and Culture Festival
On November 22-23, in Hanoi, the Department of Diplomatic Corps Services and agencies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized the 2025 International Culinary Culture Festival. The program is a cultural-diplomatic bridge, connecting culinary cultures, affirming the role of cuisine in connecting friendship and international cooperation.

Mrs. Ngo Phuong Ly, wife of General Secretary To Lam, visited the area promoting Vietnamese cuisine at the 2025 International Food and Culture Festival.
The festival with the theme "Trip of Flavors - A taste journey across five continents" is not only an opportunity to honor and promote the unique values of culinary culture Vietnam and the world, but also an opportunity to promote cultural diplomacy , expand international cooperation and spread the image of a friendly, creative and integrated Vietnam.
This year's event was elaborately prepared, with an expanded scale, with the participation of 128 booths from 50 embassies, 20 local foreign affairs agencies, 8 units under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs , businesses and many international organizations. The Organizing Committee estimated that nearly 20,000 visitors came to visit and enjoy diverse and typical dishes of many countries prepared and sold in the common space of the Festival.

Argentine Ambassador Marcos Bednarski enthusiastically supported his country's pavilion. International diners have the opportunity to experience typical Vietnamese cuisine from all regions. The spirit of friendship between countries is demonstrated at the 2025 International Food Culture Festival, through dishes and typical cultural colors of the booths, citizens of different countries have the opportunity to connect and understand each other better. The baked dish was prepared by a Sri Lankan chef at the Festival. Visitors were excited about the stalls selling Russian souvenirs and toys, such as matryoshka dolls or Russian tumbler dolls that are familiar to many generations of Vietnamese people. Russian friends are full of enthusiasm and charm with their country's unique culture and cuisine. Tacos are a traditional Mexican dish consisting of a shell made from corn or wheat flour, folded or rolled around a variety of fillings such as beef, chicken, fish, or vegetables, attracting diners to experience. Ukraine booth attracts visitors with its typical foods. Palestinian bread is popular with diners and sold out in a short time. International visitors enjoy the culinary space at the Festival. Ancient Shan Tuyet tea of the Tay ethnic group in Lao Cai province is well received by tourists. With a larger scale and nature than every year, this year's Festival has gone beyond the framework of a normal exchange activity to become a symbol of culinary cultural exchange, friendship, sharing and international solidarity. The festival sent meaningful charity gifts to some localities affected by natural disasters and floods.
