Lang Son: Adjusting customs clearance time for import and export goods through some border gates

- On July 26, the leader of the Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone Management Board said that the Management Board had just received working letter No. 71-2025 dated July 25, 2025 from the People's Government of Bang Tuong City, Guangxi, China, informing about the temporary adjustment of customs clearance time for import and export of goods at the Tan Thanh dedicated freight road (area of landmarks 1088/2 - 1089) and Coc Nam customs clearance (area of landmarks 1104 - 1105).

Accordingly, from July 24, 2025 to August 31, 2025, the time for import and export of goods at Tan Thanh dedicated freight road will be adjusted to trial customs clearance time starting from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ( Hanoi time).

For Coc Nam customs clearance, from July 24, 2025 to August 31, 2025, customs clearance testing will be conducted on weekends, New Year's Day, and holidays with prior appointments. Customs clearance time starts from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Hanoi time).

Based on the above import-export operation time, the Border Gate Management Center (Dong Dang - Lang Son Economic Zone Management Board) requests that the functional forces at Tan Thanh border gate and Coc Nam border gate arrange staff to ensure smooth import and export of goods through the Tan Thanh dedicated cargo transport route and Coc Nam customs clearance; at the same time, proactively develop a customs clearance plan, making the most of time to improve the customs clearance capacity of vehicles carrying import and export goods.

The Management Board of Dong Dang - Lang Son Economic Zone also informed enterprises and organizations that import and export goods through the Tan Thanh specialized cargo transportation route and Coc Nam customs clearance to proactively adjust the time of transporting import and export goods to the two above-mentioned border gates, thereby contributing to ensuring timely and smooth customs clearance of goods.

It is known that from the beginning of July 2025 until now, on average, about 650 vehicles carrying import and export goods cleared customs every day through the Tan Thanh specialized freight transport route; on average, 100 vehicles carrying import and export goods cleared customs every day through the Coc Nam customs clearance.
