- On the morning of October 30, at the Ho Chi Minh Museum (Hanoi), the closing ceremony and awarding ceremony of the National Reading Culture Ambassador Contest 2025 took place solemnly, with the participation of leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and representatives of provinces and cities. Lang Son province was honored to win 2 prizes, including 1 First prize and 1 Third prize, affirming the strong vitality of the reading movement among the young generation of Lang Son province.
The 2025 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for students nationwide, aims to arouse passion, promote reading movement among the young generation, encourage sharing, spread the love of reading, contribute to developing reading culture in schools, communities and building a learning society in Vietnam. The contest affirms the position and role of Vietnamese culture, especially reading culture in contributing to spreading knowledge, improving people's intelligence, creativity, nurturing personality, soul, forming a healthy lifestyle, arousing patriotic traditions, national pride, aspirations for developing a prosperous and happy country for the young generation.
A typical representative of Lang Son , Luong Ngoc Tu (grade 11C, Ba Son High School, Ba Son commune) has excellently won the first prize nationwide with the title "Outstanding Reading Culture Ambassador". His entry not only shows a deep understanding of literature but also creativity in connecting books with real life, especially the plan to spread reading to children in remote areas - where he was born and raised.

Along with that, Hoang Thi Tra My (class 11E, Chu Van An High School for the Gifted, Dong Kinh Ward) won the third prize. She is a student with a long history of achievements in the "Reading Culture Ambassador" contest, with 4 years of winning the first and second prizes in the provincial Reading Culture Ambassador contest, and 3 national prizes. This year's entry stands out with its creative illustrations, meticulousness in presenting the contest and creative solutions in promoting reading culture in remote areas, where there are many difficult circumstances.

These achievements are a testament to Lang Son province's strong investment in developing a reading culture, from building green libraries in schools to socializing book campaigns. According to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the movement has contributed to improving people's knowledge, developing creative thinking for the young generation, and at the same time implementing the Project on developing a reading culture in the community for the period 2021 - 2025.

In the preliminary round of the 2025 Provincial Reading Culture Ambassador Contest , the Organizing Committee awarded 1 collective prize and 37 individuals ( 1 excellent prize, 3 first prizes, 3 second prizes, 9 third prizes and 21 consolation prizes). | |
