Joining the delegation were comrades: Nguyen Thanh Trung, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City; Nguyen Thanh Trung, Political Commissar of the Ho Chi Minh City Command.
The delegation visited Brigade 434, Corps 34; Brigade 71, Corps 34 and Battalion 3, Air Defense Brigade 77.

At Brigade 434, Private Trinh Phuc, on behalf of 100 soldiers from Ho Chi Minh City, shared that after 3 months as a new soldier, each soldier has clearly matured: more steadfast in thinking, stronger in action, knowing how to live responsibly towards themselves, their families, comrades, teammates, units, and the Fatherland.
“We, the children of the city named after Uncle Ho, promise to bring all our youth, enthusiasm, responsibility, and efforts to study and practice continuously, not to disappoint the expectations of our leaders, localities, and families,” Private Trinh Phuc shared.
Speaking at the visit, Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc respectfully acknowledged and highly appreciated the close attention of the Party Committee, the Commander of Brigade 434, as well as the training officers who created favorable conditions for receiving and training new soldiers who are children of Ho Chi Minh City. This is a tradition that has been maintained over many years, demonstrating the close relationship and responsibility between Ho Chi Minh City and the armed forces.

According to comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Ho Chi Minh City always considers military rear work an important political task. Coordinating, introducing and creating conditions for the city's children to participate in military service is not only a responsibility, but also a source of pride for each family and the entire city's political system.
This is also an opportunity for Ho Chi Minh City to strengthen close ties with military units - the places that directly train and develop the young generation of Ho Chi Minh City to become citizens with courage and discipline, contributing to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Phuoc Loc expressed his emotions when listening to the new soldier's speech. The soldier showed the depth of awareness, maturity in thinking and sense of responsibility of a young citizen growing up in the military environment.
According to comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, this is clear evidence that military service is not only a responsibility but also a valuable opportunity for young people to train and mature physically, mentally and in life skills.

Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc hopes that after completing their military service, the soldiers will return to their localities with a stronger spirit and more courage, becoming the core reserve force, a high-quality human resource, contributing to the development of the locality and Ho Chi Minh City in general.
In particular, soldiers with good training and meeting all standards and conditions will be considered, trained, and recommended for admission to the Communist Party of Vietnam during their military service.

Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc expressed his deep gratitude to the Party Committee, Commander of Brigade 434, and training officers for their dedicated care, education, and training of the new generation of soldiers, including children from Ho Chi Minh City.
At the same time, he sent his best wishes for good health and strong spirit, wishing the soldiers to successfully complete the training program and enter the oath-taking ceremony with a steadfast spirit, great confidence and pride in becoming soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army.

At Brigade 71, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Thanh Trung expressed his joy and excitement when witnessing the rapid growth of 50 Ho Chi Minh City soldiers after 3 months of enlistment.

On behalf of the working delegation, comrade Nguyen Thanh Trung respectfully thanked the Party Committee, Brigade Commander and training staff for always being attentive and dedicated in the management, education and training of new soldiers.
The officers not only impart military knowledge and physical training, but also use the affection and responsibility of predecessors to guide and support the soldiers as if they were their own family members.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City affirmed that the city always pays special attention to and closely monitors the study, training, and feelings of soldiers who are children of Ho Chi Minh City.
Local authorities will continue to closely coordinate with military units to promptly support and accompany soldiers, especially those with difficult family circumstances, to create the best conditions for them to feel secure in working, studying and training in the military environment.
At Battalion 3, Air Defense Brigade 77, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Trung, Political Commissar of Ho Chi Minh City Command shared with 75 soldiers who are children of the city: "Comrades, please always be proud from the first days of joining the army, cherish and keep the beautiful memories of the time of training new soldiers as a valuable part of your spiritual baggage. During the learning and training process, if you encounter difficulties, please boldly share and ask for support from squad leaders and platoon leaders to overcome them together."

Colonel Nguyen Thanh Trung also advised new soldiers to remember three important things.
"First, I am a soldier of the Vietnam People's Army; second, I am a child of Ho Chi Minh City - the Heroic City; third, I am studying and working at the heroic unit of the 77th Air Defense Brigade - the steel shield protecting the sky of Ho Chi Minh City. Comrades' efforts to study and train well are the most practical way to protect relatives, friends and people," Colonel Nguyen Thanh Trung emphasized.
