Le Hoang Phuong reveals information about the closed interview round

Nearly 70 Miss Grand International contestants entered the important competition, a closed interview. Here, the girls had the opportunity to introduce themselves and say things that impressed the judges.

Coming to the journey in Hue , nearly 70 contestants of Miss Grand International 2023 went through sprint training sessions to prepare for the important competition nights.

In Hue, the highlight of the schedule is the closed interview session. This is the opportunity for the girls to impress the judges including the President of the contest Nawat, Vice President Teresa and the reigning Miss Grand International Isabella.

Le Hoang Phuong: "I feel a little regretful because of limited time"

After being announced as one of the Top 10 Best in Swimsuit of Miss Grand International 2023, Miss Grand Vietnam continued her brilliant journey with a "fighting" spirit in a private interview today.

On the Vietnamese representative side, on the important competition day, she appeared in a striking outfit with a Vietnamese imprint. Le Hoang Phuong wore a design inspired by the Northern Vietnamese ao yem, combined with geometric visual motifs in architecture, the profession she is pursuing.

After the private interview, Miss Grand Vietnam shared that she was very happy to tell her own story to the judges. "I'm a bit sorry that I can't share more because of limited time. I'm confident in myself because I started from zero, but a goodeducational foundation and support from my family gave me the opportunity to be where I am today. I believe that knowledge is a sustainable value that I always focus on to develop myself," she shared.

In a private interview, Miss Grand Singapore, Miss Grand Australia, Miss Grand Panama, Miss Grand Switzerland, Miss Grand Ukraine, Miss Grand US Virgin Island shared that the person they chose to be crowned was the representative of Vietnam.

The contestants praised Le Hoang Phuong and felt grateful that the Vietnamese representative always cared for and looked after the girls throughout the journey.

Reigning Miss Grand International: "We saw the beauty queen's qualities in the closed interview round"

After the closed interview, the reigning Miss Grand International, acting as an interview judge, talked about the criteria for finding a successor. Isabella said that the closed interview round is very important because when the Miss Grand International organization searches for a beauty queen, they need people with good character.

It is not only a girl with physical beauty but also a person with inner beauty, and that personality must be different and outstanding.

"After the interview, we can easily observe and feel the girls' personalities, see if she is ready for the competition and see how strong and determined her heart is.

So for me, in this interview round, I want to hear what they will convey, the story they want to spread to the world, how the contestants demonstrate their prestige as the new beauty queen. We will all see it in today's interview."

The reigning Miss Grand International also said that in "4B", she thinks that Brain (intelligence) is the most important factor. Because beauty depends on the eyes, taste and feelings of each person. Everyone is beautiful, but with a good mindset, they will become outstanding, steadfast, and have their own opinions about what they want to achieve.

For Isabella, each of the contestants in the closed interview round had a good message to bring to the competition. Each of them had their own unique stories to share with the judges.
