On the morning of April 11th, Ham Rong ward ( Thanh Hoa City) held the festival at Duc Thanh Ca Temple, Dong Son village.

The temple dedicated to the Great Saint Le Huu, also known as Tham Xung Ta Quoc Chang At Dai Vuong, whose given name was Le Huu, is said to have contributed to repelling foreign invaders. According to historical records and folklore, in the decisive battle against the Tang Dynasty, Le Huu, a valiant general, led the people in fighting the enemy alongside his father. He led an army straight into the enemy camp, fighting many battles and killing many enemy soldiers. However, due to the overwhelming numbers of the enemy, and the fact that the Vietnamese army, after many fierce battles, ran out of food and suffered heavy losses, the enemy besieged them. Taking advantage of Le Huu's carelessness, the enemy general struck him in the neck. His horse fled to the beginning of Dong Cuong Thuong village (one of the two villages that later formed Dong Son village), and he passed away on the spot on the 3rd day of the 3rd lunar month.
