Signing Ceremony of Credit Contract for Fleet Development Investment between VOSCO and MSB Bank - Vietnam National Shipping Lines

Continuing to implement the fleet development investment plan according to the Company's operational strategy, on April 18, 2025, at VOSCO headquarters, the Credit Contract Signing Ceremony took place between Vietnam Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MSB) and VOSCO to finance VOSCO's ship investment projects.

After investing in the bulk carrier Vosco Starlight, VOSCO continues to invest and will receive the delivery of the bulk carrier Vosco Sunlight, with summer and tropical draft tonnage of 55,851 DWT/57,361 DWT, respectively, built in 2013 in Japan. The ship will be delivered to the Company at the end of April 2025. This event continues to mark VOSCO's success in resolutely implementing its investment strategy, developing its fleet, aiming at managing and operating specialized and modern ships.

The signing of the Credit Contract with MSB - the first licensed joint stock commercial bank in Vietnam continues to affirm the trust of major financial institutions in VOSCO's resources and solid business foundation, which is the driving force for the Company to continue implementing stable and effective production and business plans and investing in development in the coming time.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quang Minh, Party Secretary and General Director of the Company said: “In recent times, developing the fleet appropriately and selectively has always been focused on by VOSCO and considered one of the top priorities to improve transport capacity, competitiveness and business efficiency as well as continue to provide customers with safe, reliable and efficient transport services with superior quality. Not only investing in Supramax bulk carriers, in 2025, VOSCO plans to implement other major investment projects including investing in building or reselling Ultramax bulk carriers, with a capacity of about 62,000-66,000 dwt and MR product oil tankers, with a capacity of about 50,000 dwt. With the cooperation and support of MSB and many other large credit institutions, the Company believes that it will have enough resources to implement projects, not only investing in ships but also in other business areas. other businesses of VOSCO”.

At the ceremony, MSB representatives also expressed their gratitude for VOSCO's trust in choosing MSB as the funding unit for the Projects. MSB hopes to bring optimal benefits to both parties and believes that VOSCO will operate the vessels stably and effectively, continuing to develop more strongly in the future.
