On the evening of July 26, at Ninh Hoa - Van Ninh Martyrs' Cemetery, Khanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union together with Ninh Hoa Town People's Committee, Van Ninh District People's Committee organized a candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024). Attending the ceremony were: Nguyen Tan Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Huu Hoang - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Dinh Van Thieu - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Tran Hoa Nam - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee along with leaders of departments, branches, localities and more than 600 union members and youth.
At the ceremony, delegates, union members and youth observed a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and to commemorate General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; lit candles and incense at the martyrs' graves.

The delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front led by Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan, presented a wreath with the words "Forever remember the heroic martyrs". The delegation of Ninh Hoa town led by Mr. Tong Tran - Secretary of the Town Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Ninh Hoa town; the delegation of Van Ninh district led by Mr. Nguyen Thai Nguyen - Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Van Ninh District Party Committee; and the delegation of Khanh Hoa youth led by Mr. Tran Anh Tuan - Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, presented a wreath in memory of the heroic martyrs.

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee presented gifts of gratitude to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Le Thi Minh Thuy and People's Armed Forces Hero Nguyen Duc Quan, People's Armed Forces Hero Le Thi Minh Hanh; the Provincial Youth Union presented portraits of martyrs to 4 families and relatives of martyrs. In addition, the Provincial Youth Union presented 30 gifts of gratitude to veterans, former youth volunteers, and victims of Agent Orange in the province; the organizing committee presented 60 gifts to families of war invalids, martyrs, people with revolutionary contributions, and students from families with preferential policies in Ninh Hoa town and Van Ninh district.
