Need to invest in high-end products
Vietnam's tourism development strategy to 2030 has identified sea and island tourism as one of the four main tourism products of our country that need to be prioritized for development. Currently, Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa has become an international sea tourism center. Therefore, Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism still needs to innovate and improve its products to meet the increasing demands of tourists. Dr. Pham Ha - Chairman and CEO of Lux Group (a unit specializing in luxury tourism services in Ha Long and Nha Trang) shared that the potential for sea and island tourism in Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa is huge. Currently, Khanh Hoa tourism mainly exploits traditional tours. Khanh Hoa tourism needs to call on investors to develop more cruise services on Nha Trang Bay, overnight tours on the bay. The birth of Ana Marina Nha Trang has contributed to promoting high-class sea and island tourism services such as: Organizing cruise tours on Nha Trang Bay, from Nha Trang to Van Phong... In particular, with the international port code, Ana Marina Nha Trang can become a destination for cruise ships around the world . In the long term, Nha Trang needs a specialized tourist port to welcome large cruise ships.
According to Mr. Bui Minh Thang, in addition to upgrading infrastructure, cruise ships, etc., in the long term, Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism needs to invest in other attractive products, such as underwater museums like in Mexico, India, etc. When building the Khanh Hoa tourism development strategy for the period 2025 - 2030, with a vision to 2045, experts from Gratiya Company (a consulting unit from Dubai, UAE) suggested that Khanh Hoa needs to invest in more high-end sea and island tourism products.
