Grow up in knowledge, mature in gratitude
“The first day I set foot in TH School, I was just a little girl living away from home for the first time, starting boarding school. Yet for 5 years, I have been eating, studying and living in a loving and disciplined environment. TH School not only nurtures me every day, but also opens the door for me to step out into the world: participating in competitions, summer camps, international forums and living a full, brilliant youth. TH School has changed me, helped me develop my passion for internationaleducation and rewrite the future that I once thought was unreachable.”
Those were the sincere and emotional shares of Nguyen Hanh An - an excellent female student who won scholarships from 10 top universities in the US, Canada, and Spain - at the 2024-2025 Graduation Ceremony of TH School Hoa Lac, which took place on the afternoon of May 23 in Hanoi .

The graduation ceremony concluded a successful 12-year journey of study, bringing bright, happy smiles. Students, parents and teachers looked back together on a memorable journey, where smiles, tears and hugs blended together, creating a beautiful picture of love and maturity.
At the ceremony, Hanh An was moved to express her gratitude to Labor Hero Thai Huong – Founder of TH School, the dedicated teachers and loving parents. “Thank you, Mrs. Thai Huong, for creating a kind and open school for children with dreams. Thank you, teachers, for your dedication, love and endless inspiration. And thank you, parents – for believing in me, choosing TH School for me, and always being the most solid launching pad in my heart. Everyone’s love and sacrifice is what I will carry with me forever on the journey ahead.”
Returning from the lecture hall of British University Vietnam (BUV) to his beloved home, TH School, former student Ton Quang Minh could not hide his emotions when sharing with his juniors. For Minh, the values that TH School has taught him, from the spirit of self-awareness, diligence, the value of kindness and the power of believing in oneself, are the most valuable assets for him to enter university and life.
“The feeling of doing something on your own, without depending on anyone else, is quite special, especially when we are in the early stages of becoming adults, having to be proactive and responsible for our lives in the future. It may sound difficult, but don’t worry because I believe that TH School has prepared you very carefully for the upcoming journey.” – Quang Minh excitedly shared.

The emotional moment when graduation caps are thrown into the sky – a symbol of youth, effort and aspiration to fly far |
In the emotional moment at the graduation ceremony, when joy was evident in the eyes and smiles of students, parents and teachers, the Principal of TH School Hoa Lac - Ms. Jane Ball - sent a profound message: "Today is not the end of the learning journey, but just the turning of a new page, a transformation. When preparing to step into a wide open world full of opportunities out there, you bring with you not only academic knowledge, but also the values, experiences and memories that have been nurtured and nurtured during your time studying at TH School."
Ms. Jane Ball hopes that in the years ahead, her students will live with passion, gratitude, humanity and empathy, and always act with integrity – staying true to their values, even in difficult times. “We are incredibly proud of the people you have become, and look forward to seeing the difference you will make in the world.”
That is also the core spirit that TH School pursues, an education that is nurtured “with the heart and soul of a mother”, like the humanistic philosophy that TH School’s founder, Labor Hero Thai Huong, has tirelessly built. Under this school’s roof, the SPIRE happiness model – researched by Dr. Tal Ben-Shahar (Harvard University) – is the guiding principle for nurturing true happiness: Spiritual, Physical, Intellectual, Relational and Emotional.
At TH School, happiness is not only measured by grades, but also by maturity in personality, character and leadership. The school integrates global issues into each lesson, helping students broaden their vision and macro-perception – thereby nurturing a sense of responsibility, encouraging them to create solutions to eliminate economic and cultural barriers, towards a fairer and more humane world. The generation of students graduating from TH School today are the future leaders who will contribute to building a strong Vietnam in the era of globalization.
In the emotional atmosphere of the ceremony, Labor Hero Thai Huong - a woman who always believes that education is a journey to create happiness - shared her profound vision on the journey to build TH School. For her, this is not just a school, but a mission to join hands with society in creating a golden generation of happiness in the future through a humane, modern and deeply Vietnamese educational model, so that each student when leaving school carries a solid baggage, like a key to open the way to a meaningful and promising life ahead.

Quoting two famous verses of Poet Che Lan Vien: “When we are here, it is just a place to live. When we leave, the land has become our soul!”, Ms. Thai Huong advised: Students should carry the emotions filled with this school as a baggage full of faith, pride and love to step into life.
And as if to continue that stream of emotions, Mr. Simon James Aherne - the homeroom teacher of class 12H - shared his feelings with simple but profound words : " I think the most difficult thing when you leave this place is not the challenges ahead, but the nostalgia, the nostalgia for your second home called TH School."
TH School Hoa Lac welcomes students from grades 9-12 in the form of day-boarding and boarding, on a 25,000m² campus, about 40 minutes by car from the center of Hanoi.
