Ceremony to award the Certificate of Title "Excellent Teacher" for Primary Schools at the Provincial Level

DTO - On March 29, the Department of Education and Training held a ceremony to award the Certificate of "Excellent Teacher" title to Primary School in Dong Thap province for the 2024-2025 school year. Attending the ceremony were Ms. Nguyen Thuy Ha - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Education and Training, Mr. Ho Van Thong - Principal of Dong Thap University and 85 teachers of grades 1, 2, 3 and teachers of English and Information Technology.

Representatives of the Department of Education and Training awarded certificates to teachers who achieved the title of "Excellent Primary Teacher" at the provincial level.

The Dong Thap Province Primary School Excellent Teacher Competition for the 2024-2025 school year took place from February to March 2025 with 207 teachers registering to compete in 2 parts: presenting measures to contribute to improving the quality of individual teaching work, and teaching practice. After successfully completing the contests and meeting the requirements of the Jury, 85/207 excellent teachers were awarded the title of "Excellent Teacher" at the Primary School level, of which 5 teachers were honored with the title of Golden Chalk.

The “Excellent Teacher” Contest at the Primary level is an opportunity for teachers to practice, be creative, exchange experiences in teaching, and improve the effectiveness of professional activities. Thereby, promoting teaching and learning emulation movements, assessing the current status of the teaching staff to improve professional qualifications and skills to meet the requirements of educational innovation in the current period.
