2. Civil servants and public employees will have the National Day holiday in 2023 from Friday, September 1, 2023 to Monday, September 4, 2023. This holiday includes 02 National Day holidays, 01 weekly day off and 01 compensatory day off for the weekly day off as prescribed in Clause 3, Article 111 of the Labor Code.

5. For employees not subject to the provisions of Clause 1 of this Notice, the employer decides to choose the Lunar New Year and National Day holiday options in 2023 as follows:

- For National Day holiday: Saturday, September 2, 2023 and choose 1 of 2 days: Friday, September 1, 2023 or Sunday, September 3, 2023.
- Notify employees of the Lunar New Year and National Day holiday plans in 2023 at least 30 days before implementation.
- If the weekly day off coincides with a public holiday as prescribed in Clause 1, Article 112 of the Labor Code, the employee shall be entitled to take a compensatory weekly day off on the next working day as prescribed in Clause 3, Article 111 of the Labor Code.
- Encourage employers to apply Lunar New Year holidays for employees as prescribed for civil servants and public employees.
