- Ho Chi Minh City College of Economics and Technology, Tran Dai Nghia College, District 12 College of Economics and Technology became Tran Dai Nghia College.

- South Saigon Polytechnic College, Nhan Dao Vocational College, Binh Thanh Vocational College became South Saigon Polytechnic College.

- Nguyen Truong To Technical College, Ho Chi Minh City Polytechnic College, Cu Chi Vocational College became Nguyen Truong To College.

- Thu Duc College of Economics and Technology, Dong Sai Gon Vocational College became Ho Chi Minh City College of Technology.

- Ly Tu Trong College, Ho Chi Minh City, Information and Communication College became Ly Tu Trong College, Ho Chi Minh City.

- Ho Chi Minh City College of Transport, Binh Duong Vocational Education and Driving Test Center, and Transport Vocational College (Ba Ria - Vung Tau) became Ho Chi Minh City College of Transport.

- Thu Thiem College, Ho Chi Minh City, Nguyen Huu Canh College of Economics and Technology, Ton Duc Thang College of Technology and Vocational Training became Nguyen Huu Canh College.

- Ho Chi Minh City College of Culture and Arts, Binh Duong College of Fine Arts and Culture became Ho Chi Minh City College of Culture and Arts.

Ho Chi Minh City plans to establish two schools: Saigontourist College of Tourism and Hotel (upgraded from Saigontourist College of Tourism and Hotel) and Ho Chi Minh City College of High-Tech Agriculture (merging Ho Chi Minh City College of Agricultural Technology, College of Agriculture and Forestry and Center for Vocational Education of High-Tech Agriculture). After the reorganization, Ho Chi Minh City is expected to have no more secondary schools.

At the university level, Ho Chi Minh City will retain Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine and Thu Dau Mot University. Saigon University will be reorganized by merging with Ba Ria - Vung Tau Pedagogical College under the name Saigon University.

In Ha Tinh , the province proposed to continue researching the merger of Ha Tinh University into a member university of Hanoi National University or according to new instructions from the Ministry of Education and Training.

In the field of vocational education, the province proposed to maintain 8 Vocational Education - Continuing Education Centers and 5 vocational schools (including Nguyen Du College operating specifically in the field of culture and arts - contributing to preserving and promoting the value of Vi and Giam folk songs and other typical cultural heritages of the province).

The Department of Education and Training of Thanh Hoa province proposed merging Thanh Hoa University of Culture - Sports - Tourism into Hong Duc University to reduce the number of higher education institutions. The arrangement aims to form a multidisciplinary university, increase the attractiveness to learners, expand international cooperation, and focus investment resources to improve the scale and quality of training.

The other four schools proposed to merge are Thanh Hoa Industrial College, Nghi Son Vocational College, Bim Son Vocational College and Thanh Hoa Technology.

After the arrangement, Phu Tho province has 1 university, 1 medical college, 3 vocational colleges, a reduction of 4 colleges.

Specifically, merging Hoa Binh Pedagogical College into Hung Vuong University.

Merge Hoa Binh Medical College into Phu Tho Medical College, and at the same time, based on the approved planning policy, continue to research and build into a University of Medicine and Pharmacy in the period 2026-2030.

Reorganize Vinh Phuc College in the following direction: transfer the Medical field to Phu Tho Medical College; transfer the Pedagogical field to Hung Vuong University. Merge the remaining departments of Vinh Phuc College into Vinh Phuc College of Economics and Technology.

Merging 3 schools including Hoa Binh College of Economics and Technology, Hoa Binh College of Economics and Technology and Song Da Vocational College to form Hoa Binh Vocational College.

The People's Committee of Ca Mau province also reported on the proposed plan to arrange and merge educational institutions.

Accordingly, the province plans to merge Ca Mau Medical College and Bac Lieu Medical College into Ca Mau Medical College.

Merge Vietnam - Korea Vocational College Ca Mau and Bac Lieu Vocational College into Vietnam - Korea Vocational College Ca Mau.

Merge Ca Mau Community College and Bac Lieu College of Economics and Technology into Ca Mau College.

This province proposed a plan to maintain the status quo of Bac Lieu University.
