Truc Ninh District Labor Federation takes care of the lives of workers, civil servants and laborers

Truc Ninh District Labor Federation is currently managing 132 grassroots unions with a total of more than 23,000 union members, of which the administrative sector has more than 3,000 union members; the production and business sector has nearly 20,000 union members. In order to become a reliable support, taking care of improving the material and spiritual life of employees, every year the District Labor Federation has organized many activities towards the grassroots such as: coordinating with functional departments and branches to organize inspection teams, supervising the implementation of grassroots democracy regulations, policies, wages, bonuses, allowances, social insurance (SI), health insurance, unemployment insurance; perfecting the team of social opinion collaborators, grasping the thoughts and aspirations, recording the recommendations and proposals of employees to promptly take measures to resolve them; Establish a Legal Advisory Group of the District Labor Federation with 12 members, organizing hundreds of legal consultations each year at the request of union members and workers... In 2024, implementing the grassroots democracy regulations, 100% of grassroots unions of public administrative and career agencies and units coordinated to organize conferences for civil servants and public employees; 66.6% of enterprise unions coordinated to organize conferences for employees and dialogues at the workplace. Coordinated inter-sectoral supervision at 2 enterprises on the implementation of laws on labor, social insurance, trade unions and grassroots democracy regulations at the workplace. Trade unions at all levels also actively promoted the dissemination of legal policies, 100% of union members and workers were disseminated, disseminated, studied and thoroughly understood the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws related to labor and trade unions; Over 80% of workers participate in training to improve their qualifications and professional skills.

In addition, the district's trade unions at all levels also actively care for the spiritual life of workers through organizing programs during the Workers' Month and the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH). In 2024, the district's Labor Federation visited and presented gifts from the Provincial Labor Federation to 185 workers in difficult circumstances with a total value of nearly 100 million VND. The grassroots trade unions coordinated with business owners to organize activities to commend, reward and care for more than 15,600 union members and workers, with a total value of more than 2.7 billion VND; typically, Amara Vietnam Shoes Co., Ltd. gave gifts to more than 11,000 union members and workers with a total value of more than 2.1 billion VND; Shin Myung First Vina Co., Ltd. gave gifts to outstanding collectives and workers with a total amount of more than 175 million VND; Truc Ninh Plastic Company gave gifts to 436 union members and employees with a total value of over 125 million VND; the following LLCs: Chung Jye Ninh Binh Shoe Manufacturing - Vietnam (Nam Dinh branch), Hiep Tan Shoes, Kiara Garments Vietnam, Rongchen, Best U Vina Sung Won Vina all gave gifts to 100% of employees. In addition, many company trade unions organized conferences, seminars, training on occupational safety and health, organized mobile legal consultancy, organized health check-ups for union members and employees, typically: Dream Plastic Nam Dinh LLC trained on occupational safety and health for more than 4,200 employees and trained first aid awareness for 150 employees; Amara Shoes Vietnam LLC organized mobile legal consultancy for more than 200 employees; Truc Ninh Plastic Company organized health check-ups for 100% of union members and workers... Implementing women's work, on the occasion of International Women's Day (March 8), Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20) in 2024, 100% of trade unions organized gift giving and congratulating female workers. The District Labor Federation coordinated with the district Department of Education and Training to donate kindergarten supplies and equipment to Phuong Dinh and Truc Hung Kindergartens with a total value of 17 million VND; coordinated with the district Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to visit and give gifts to 42 children of workers in difficult circumstances, children with disabilities, children with serious illnesses, children who are victims of Agent Orange, children in especially difficult circumstances in 21 communes and towns; In coordination with the Specialized Committee (Provincial Labor Federation), Dream Plastic Nam Dinh Company Limited organized communication on reproductive health care for 200 female employees and health examination and consultation for 413 female employees. Taking care of union members and employees during the Lunar New Year 2025, the Unions at all levels in the district visited and presented gifts to more than 25,600 union members and employees, with a total value of over 10.6 billion VND; many units organized the "Tet Sum Vay" program with more than 13,000 union members and employees participating and presenting gifts to over 1,400 people with a total value of over 744 million VND; typically the Unions of the following LLCs: Amara Shoes Vietnam; Rong Chen; Shin Myung First Vina; Truc Ninh Plastic; Hiep Tan Shoes; Chung Jye Ninh Binh - Vietnam Shoe Manufacturing (Nam Dinh branch); Kiara Garments Vietnam.

Trade Unions at all levels have actively launched patriotic emulation movements, proactively proposed to employers to encourage and motivate employees to enthusiastically participate. Typical examples include the emulation movements "Good workers, creative workers"; "Good at public work, good at housework"; "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and health", "Serving the cause of industrialization, modernization of agriculture and rural development"; campaigns: "Green lifestyle", "Green production", "Green consumption", 3T movement "Saving - Recycling - Reusing"... In particular, launching initiative writing in the emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers", trade unions in agencies and administrative units coordinate with professional organizations to propagate and mobilize employees to effectively implement the Campaign "Building officials, civil servants and public employees: Loyal, responsible, honest, creative"; The movement of "good advice, good service", actively participating in administrative procedure reform, serving the people promptly and effectively. Typically, the District Education and Training Trade Union mobilized union members to compete in "Good teaching", "Innovation and creativity in teaching and learning", "Each teacher is an example of morality, self-study and creativity". 100% of teachers registered for innovation, registered for "groups of teachers developing together" according to the interdisciplinary motto: "Each hour in class is a step forward in teaching, each day at school there is an innovation in work"... The Health Sector Trade Union coordinated well in implementing the emulation movements: "Innovation in style and service attitude of medical staff towards patient satisfaction"; regularly improving the spirit and attitude of serving patients. The production and business union coordinates with business owners to propagate and mobilize employees to actively participate in the emulation movements "Higher productivity, better quality", "Skill training, excellent worker competition", promote initiatives, improve techniques, apply advanced technology to production, practice thrift; improve efficiency, machinery, equipment... In 2024, the whole district has nearly 400 initiatives with district-level influence; 3 initiatives with provincial-level influence, 2 initiatives proposed to award the Creative Labor Certificate of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. In addition, the district's trade unions also launched environmental protection movements, planting trees, shade trees, taking care of ornamental plants, repairing flower beds, flower gardens, beautifying agency campuses, planting green fences and launching "Clean Sunday"... among union members, employees...

With the practical care and concern activities of the Trade Unions at all levels, the material and spiritual life of workers and employees in Truc Ninh district has been increasingly improved. In the coming time, the Trade Unions at all levels of the district will continue to promote activities to care for and improve the lives of union members and workers, actively launch emulation movements to improve labor productivity and product quality, actively promote initiatives, improve techniques, promote combined strength, contribute to building agencies, units and enterprises to develop more and more, build the Trade Union organization to become a solid support for union members and workers.
