Practically welcoming the 16th Congress of Ninh Binh Provincial Trade Union, term 2023 - 2028, on September 11, the Provincial Labor Federation (LDL) coordinated with units to organize the donation of support money to build a "Union Shelter" house for union member Tran Thi Thuong, residing in Gia Lam commune, Nho Quan district.
Ms. Thuong's family is poor and cannot afford to build a house. Ms. Thuong is currently a union member of Ever Great International Company Limited (Gia Van Industrial Park, Gia Vien).
Ms. Thuong's family's house was built on an area of 80m2 with a total cost of nearly 200 million VND. Of which, the Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam, Ninh Binh Branch to support 50 million VND. Organizations, agencies, businesses, individuals, relatives, and neighbors also participated in donating money and working days to build the house. After more than 6 months of construction, the house has now been basically completed, helping Ms. Thuong's family have a stable place to live.
The Provincial Federation of Labor's support for union members in difficult circumstances to build houses contributes to motivating them to improve their lives.
