On the morning of November 24, at the Ho Chi Minh City Sports Service Center, HTPF held its first congress of delegates for the 2025-2030 term to complete the HTPF executive committee after the merger and conversion.
With the spirit of "Solidarity, Innovation and Professionalism", the HTPF Executive Committee elected 45 members, 39 candidates and 6 additional positions were introduced right at the congress.
According to comments from delegates, the list of members is missing a few representatives from Binh Duong (old), where the tennis movement is developing.
The specific list includes 1 chairman, 1 permanent vice chairman, 7 vice chairmen, 1 general secretary, 1 deputy general secretary and 34 members (the number of members may increase according to reality and HTPF regulations).
Mr. Tran Manh Ut was re-elected with absolute consensus. Ms. Tran Thanh Hoang Ngan took on the new task of Secretary General of HTPF for the 2025-2030 term.
Speaking at the congress, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Nam Nhan gave specific instructions, assigning tasks to the new HTPF Executive Committee to both promote pickleball and rebuild the tennis system which is the "cradle" of Ho Chi Minh City.
The congress took place in a peaceful atmosphere. The Executive Committee for the 2024-2025 term summarized the activities, pointed out the strengths and limitations in a year of merging pickleball into the federation.

HTPF is the pioneer in expanding, capturing sports trends and making efforts to arrange pickleball into an increasingly well-managed and organized sport.
Not only that, the executive committee also recognized that the tennis movement in Ho Chi Minh City in the past and in the future is facing rapid changes, with shortcomings in the development of the movement and professionalism. How to bring Ho Chi Minh City tennis back to its golden age is not a simple problem.
Sharing after becoming the new Secretary General of HTPF, Ms. Hoang Ngan said: "The challenge and opportunity for the new executive board is that Ho Chi Minh City will expand to Ba Ria Vung Tau and Binh Duong. In the immediate future, there will be many difficulties in developing tennis and pickleball on a large scale. However, I believe that with the participation of many experts, HTPF will be able to build a solid and long-term plan for the 2025-2030 term."
The HTPF Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term quickly organized a fundraising event from delegates to support flood victims in the Central region in recent times. HTPF alone donated 10 million VND. HTPF hopes to receive more support from accompanying organizations.
