Lion, Dragon, Lion Dance and Cheo Festival of Spring Giap Thin 2024

On the evening of February 17 (January 8, Giap Thin year), the Lion, Lion, Dragon Dance and Cheo Festival of Spring Giap Thin 2024 took place at the walking street of Phu Ly city. Attending the festival were comrade Nguyen Duc Toan, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Phu Ly city; leaders of the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism along with a large number of people and children.

The festival was attended by 6 Lion, Lion, Dragon dance teams from 6 districts, towns and cities in the province. With elaborate investment and thorough training, the teams brought to the festival beautiful and attractive Lion, Lion, Dragon dances, thereby exuding the unique cultural features of the traditional Lion, Lion, Dragon dance art while still expressing the unique features of each team.

The festival is a special program to welcome the new year of Giap Thin with wishes for a prosperous, warm and happy life. This is also an opportunity for the Lion, Lion and Dragon teams in the province to meet, exchange and share experiences to improve their performance techniques; at the same time, contributing to preserving, conserving and promoting the value of traditional folk art forms.
