Authorities arrested Ho Van Duong.

Previously, at around 2:00 p.m. on August 14, the working group chaired by A Luoi 2 Commune Police coordinated with A Luoi 1 Commune Police, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of the City Police, and the Border Guard task force under the City Military Command to inspect the abandoned camp area in Dut 1 village (A Luoi 1 commune).

Through that, they discovered 2 subjects with signs of drug use so they proceeded to check, but both of them ran away. During the pursuit, the working group arrested Ho Van Duong (born in 2004, residing in Dut 1 village, A Luoi 1 commune) and discovered that this subject threw a plastic bag containing 200 pink pills (suspected to be pink pills).

The remaining subject was identified as Ho Van Ngoc (born in 2001, residing in Dut 1 village, A Luoi 1 commune). At 8:15 a.m. on August 15, this subject presented himself to the A Luoi 1 commune police station. Currently, the City Police Investigation Agency is continuing to investigate and handle the subjects according to the provisions of the law.

Loc An commune police searched the residence of subject D.D.M.

On the same day, August 14, at 10:10 p.m. on Nam Pho Ha inter-village road (Loc An commune), Loc An commune police force arrested subject D.D.M (born in 1986, residing in Loc An commune) for illegal possession of drugs.

At the time of arrest, D.D.M was in possession of 6 blue plastic straws containing methamphetamine. Notably, D.D.M is a subject under management, and the results of a rapid drug test on the spot showed that the subject tested positive for methamphetamine.

Currently, Loc An Commune Police are continuing to consolidate the case file, resolve the case in accordance with the law, clarify the origin of the drugs that D.D.M. stored. The goal is to completely destroy drug trafficking and storage rings in the area, contributing to maintaining security and order, bringing a peaceful life to the people.
