Especially in terms of refereeing, the Referee Board needs to appoint referees with the right expertise, capacity and nature of the match. After each round, there needs to be an evaluation and experience in the management work to avoid making mistakes. Some important matches can hire foreign referees to improve their expertise.

Besides applying VAR technology, referees need to manage matches fairly and objectively.

The end of the V-League season is tense and competitive at both ends of the rankings.

Recently, V-League has heated up with reactions from many teams about the referee issue. Some reactions violated the tournament regulations, negatively affecting the image of the tournament. The most recent typical case is the case of HAGL Technical Director Vu Tien Thanh, who was severely disciplined by VFF for insulting the referee. Therefore, the VFF Standing Committee also required clubs to carry out propaganda work and raise awareness of members.

Recently, FIFA has demoted Phu Tho Second Division team due to match-fixing. VFF recommends that the Organizing Committee monitor, supervise and tighten security to ensure that no negative incidents occur.
