On May 10, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province said that the provincial Chairman Pham Anh Tuan has directed to rectify, prevent and repel school violence, and strengthen moral and lifestyleeducation for students in the area.

According to the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province, recently, the media and social networks have posted information about a number of incidents in which students in the province set up groups on social networks, attacked, caused conflicts, and incited them to participate in violence, causing incidents that affected the educational environment and caused public outrage.

A series of female student fights have caused public outrage.

Regarding the school violence incident by groups of female secondary school students in Phu Cat district and An Nhon town, Binh Dinh province leaders said that the localities have reported it. However, the reports only stop at the level of reporting the incident, do not clearly analyze the cause of the incident, and do not provide timely measures to prevent, correct and strictly handle individual students who violate school ethics.

Therefore, the Chairman of Phu Cat District People's Committee and the Chairman of An Nhon Town People's Committee are required to closely direct relevant agencies and units to urgently investigate and analyze the causes leading to the above situation. At the same time, take specific corrective and remedial measures; strictly discipline the collectives and individuals involved in the recent incidents of student violence in the area; report to the Provincial People's Committee before May 15.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province requested the Department of Education and Training, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to be responsible for directing educational institutions to strengthen propaganda, dissemination, and education on ethics, lifestyle, and life skills for students; actively implement the contents of building friendly schools - active students; promote the widespread implementation of the movement to study and follow the ideology, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh ; develop and promulgate codes of conduct in schools and have strict disciplinary measures for violations.

Strengthen the responsibility of managers, teachers and staff in managing, preventing, detecting and promptly stopping school violence; closely coordinate with parents, regularly exchange and grasp students' thoughts and feelings to have effective educational measures.

Promote the role of students in preventing and reporting acts of school violence; strengthen coordination between schools, police agencies, parent-teacher associations, mass organizations and local authorities to take measures to prevent and repel school violence. The provincial police are responsible for directing their subordinate units to investigate and strictly handle acts of school violence.

As Tien Phong reported, in the past two months, there have been three cases of female middle school students being beaten up in Binh Dinh province in An Nhon town and Phu Cat district. Recently, on the evening of May 6, Facebook users circulated a clip recording the brutal beating of an 8th grade male student in Tuy Phuoc district (Binh Dinh) at a coffee shop. The incident is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
