Revealed reason for not recognizing the results of Phu Yen Traditional Martial Arts Congress

A source of CAND Newspaper reporter on the afternoon of May 24 said that Mr. Le Vu Cac, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Phu Yen province, signed a document "Not recognizing the results of the Congress of the Phu Yen Provincial Sports Association for the 2025-2030 term held on April 6, 2025 at the Phu Yen Sports Training and Competition Center Hall".

The reason is that at the Congress of the Phu Yen Provincial Association of Sports and Tourism, term 2025-2030, the Executive Committee has not elected a candidate for the position of President of the Association; some candidates elected to the position of Vice President of the Association have not met the conditions and standards according to the Personnel Plan approved by the Executive Committee of the Phu Yen Provincial Association of Sports and Tourism, term 2018-2023.

Before issuing the above document, the Department of Home Affairs of Phu Yen province received a document dated May 19 from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism reporting the results of checking complaints and denunciations from citizens and members of the Phu Yen Provincial Association of Sports and Tourism after the Association held its congress.

The Department of Home Affairs of Phu Yen province requests the Executive Committee of the Phu Yen Provincial Association of the Arts for the 2018-2023 term to continue to manage the activities of the Association to ensure stability, solidarity and development. When there is a decision from the competent authority on the merger of Dak Lak and Phu Yen provinces, the Executive Committee of the Phu Yen Provincial Association of the Arts for the Arts shall coordinate with the Executive Committee of the Dak Lak Provincial Association of the Arts for the Arts to carry out the merger procedures in accordance with the provisions of law.
