Youth song dedicated to Uncle Ho

May comes, bringing with it the brilliant rays of early summer sunshine, and it is also the time when in the hearts of every Vietnamese citizen, especially Uncle Ho's soldiers, sacred emotions surge - the 135th anniversary of the birth of beloved Uncle Ho.

In the atmosphere of May, my unit is bustling with practicing art performances, simple but passionate lyrics and singing, like flowers offered to Uncle Ho - the father of the nation.

As a soldier and also a member of the Youth Union, I was fortunate to join the unit's performing arts team. In between intense training sessions, we spent time practicing singing and dancing about Uncle Ho, the Party, the Fatherland, and the Army. The rehearsals were not simply artistic activities, but became moments deep in the soul, when the young soldier's heart was filled with pride, love, and aspiration to contribute.

Among the songs selected for performance, I was particularly impressed with the song “Uncle Ho’s Youth Generation” by musician Trieu Dang. Right from the first lines: “From the ocean to the high mountains, our Union flag carries Uncle Ho’s image with his name...”, my heart seemed to beat a different rhythm. The heroic melody, profound lyrics, each word of the song is like a sincere reminder to today’s young generation: We must live up to the name “Youth of Ho Chi Minh’s Generation”.

I still remember the eyes of my comrade next to me while practicing singing, lit up with emotion mixed with pride. Because each lyric in the song is not only a compliment, but also a silent command urging us to live with ideals, with responsibility, with dedication. The lyrics: "For the country, we go to build a happy life for the future to satisfy Uncle Ho's wishes day and night..." seem to touch the silent ambitions in the heart of every young soldier.

Performing arts practice is therefore not only an opportunity to review revolutionary songs but also a form of profound political education. We sing and absorb Uncle Ho's ideology, morality and style. The lyrics help us calm down during the harsh training days, so that we - the young soldiers - become more determined, train more firmly, study more seriously, because in every action today we want to contribute a small part to the great cause that Uncle always wished for.

The performance night is approaching. We are not professional artists, but with all our sincerity, each performance, each melody will be a deep gratitude to beloved Uncle Ho. Today's generation will follow in the footsteps of the previous generation. And in the hearts of every young soldier, the melodies about Uncle Ho will resonate forever, like a guiding star, like a flame that never goes out.
