ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

At 12:45 on October 12, 2024 (September 10, Giap Thin year), our family experienced a great loss, the eternal departure of Mr. Doan Van Xe - a respected Husband, Father, and Grandfather to the family after a period of illness despite being cared for by the doctors and nurses at Thong Nhat Hospital.

Our father's funeral was solemnly held at his home: No. 46, Street 48, Binh Trung Tay Ward, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City.

Our family would like to sincerely thank:

Your kindness has warmed our hearts, comforted us, and encouraged us to overcome this pain. In this time of confusion, mistakes are inevitable, and we hope you will forgive us.

Mr. Doan Van Xe was born in 1938 in Ben Tre and started participating in the revolution at the age of 9. During his 46 years of service, he has held many important positions such as Deputy Minister of Transport and General Director of Vietnam Railways Union. He has made many contributions to the development of the transport sector in general and the Vietnam railway sector in particular.

He was awarded by the Party and the State: Resistance Badge; National Citadel Badge; Resistance Medal, Third Class Anti-American National Salvation Medal and many other noble titles.
