Long An receives more than 26 billion VND to support people affected by storm No. 3

Information from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long An province on October 11 said that immediately after the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front issued a call for support on September 10, 2024, the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long An province issued an appeal to all compatriots, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and soldiers of the province's armed forces to support compatriots in the provinces affected by storm No. 3.

During the time of launching the appeal, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province received a lot of material and spiritual support from all compatriots, cadres, civil servants, public employees, soldiers of the armed forces, organizations, businesses, and philanthropists in the province for compatriots in the northern provinces affected by storm No. 3.

By the end of October 10, 2024, in Long An province, a total of 1,205 agencies, organizations, units and individuals donated more than 26.5 billion VND to people in the northern provinces affected by storm No. 3; At the same time, about 10 tons of goods including rice and necessities were also transferred to support Lao Cai province.

On October 10, 2024, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long An province announced the end of the campaign to support the northern provinces affected by storm No. 3.
