According to the provincial Hydrometeorological Station, through monitoring images from weather radar, it was discovered that convective clouds are forming and developing in the areas of Yen The and Hiep Hoa districts, which are likely to cause showers and thunderstorms. In addition, convective clouds in Vinh Phuc province and Hanoi city tend to move towards Bac Giang province. In the next few hours, these convective clouds will continue to develop, causing heavy showers and thunderstorms in the above areas, and then possibly spread to other areas in the province such as Viet Yen town, Bac Giang city and the districts of Lang Giang, Tan Yen, Luc Nam, Luc Ngan, Son Dong and Chu town. During thunderstorms, there is a potential for strong gusts of wind that can break trees, damage houses, traffic works and infrastructure, endangering human lives.
