Fire broke out on the 14th floor of Linh Dam apartment building, residents fled in panic.

(PLVN) - Black smoke billowed from the balcony of an apartment on the 14th floor of the HH4A Linh Dam building (Hoang Mai district, Hanoi) on the morning of June 4, causing panic among many residents. Many people, including the elderly and children, rushed to the apartment building's yard.

At around 8:45 a.m. on June 4, many residents living in the HH4A Linh Dam apartment building (Hoang Liet ward, Hoang Mai district) discovered thick black smoke coming from the balcony and windows of an apartment on the 14th floor. The incident quickly caused chaos in the building, and residents immediately reported it to the authorities.

When the fire was discovered, many residents, including the elderly and children, panicked and fled the building to ensure safety.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Police and Rescue Force dispatched 3 fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to carry out fire extinguishing and search and rescue operations.

Authorities coordinated with building security and residents to quickly reach the scene, control the fire, and prevent it from spreading to neighboring apartments.

After about 15 minutes, the fire was completely extinguished. Fortunately, the fire caused no casualties.

Currently, the cause of the incident is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
