Luu Trong Ninh shared that not everyone knows about Company 915.
If in the movie Dong Loc Crossroads there were 10 people sacrificed, here there were 60 people. It was a big event.
With a historical distance of more than 50 years, the director said in this latest film, he wanted to look at the sacrifices of female heroes from a different perspective.
Movie 915 also marks Quach Ngoc Ngoan's return to the big screen since Victor Vu's Immortal in 2018.
This year, the actor played a supporting role in a drama called Hung Long Phong Ba 3 , but the film did not attract attention.
With 915 , this is the third time Quach Ngoc Ngoan has collaborated with director Luu Trong Ninh (previously with Khat Vong Thang Long and Buoc Nhe To Hanh Phuc).
The film was filmed in many provinces and cities such as Thai Nguyen, Bac Kan, Hanoi , Hung Yen, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang. After three years of preparation and more than a year of production, the film finally reached the audience.

Movie 915 is 100 minutes long, about Nam (played by Quach Ngoc Ngoan) - a soldier in training to prepare to go to the South to fight, falling in love with Sao (Khanh Linh), also known as Bo Ket.
Sao is a Tay ethnic girl, beautiful and good at singing Then. She vowed to become a forest ghost so that the villagers could stone her, instead of being forced to marry to pay off the debt left by her previous life.
Their love of youth and love of country gave them the strength to overcome many barriers to come together. But when the Fatherland needed them, they knew how to sacrifice their own happiness to follow the ideal of patriotism.
915 is about war, although there are about 100 actors participating, but it lacks grand scenes depicting the harshness of war. The scenes of bombs, bullets, smoke, mines... are still not enough. There are some scenes that are theatrical.

Director Luu Trong Ninh has “overcome” the limitation of large-scale scenes with his storytelling art. Instead of focusing on scenes of death and bombs, the film exploits the lyrical aspect of war.
The film is about revolutionary heroism but not too big. The love story between Nam and Bo Ket is told in a simple and quite touching way. There are beautiful scenes, showing the director's care and effort.
In the last letter written to Nam, Bo Ket wrote: “You promised to plant a soapberry tree, get the fruit for me to wash my hair and burn it to keep warm during the winter. People say peace is coming, I will see you soon.” There was no meeting. The unfinished reunion made the audience feel uneasy.
