On April 8, the Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board announced that within the framework of this campaign, Malaysia will participate in the Vietnam International Travel Mart (VITM) Hanoi 2025, taking place from April 10 to 13. Here, the Board will introduce a series of unique tourism products, from vacations on peaceful islands, bustling cities to vibrant amusement parks. Through this, Vietnamese tourists can directly experience and learn about new destinations in Malaysia.

VITM Hanoi 2025 is also a place for the Malaysian Tourism Promotion Board to introduce the Visit Malaysia Year 2026 campaign and encourage Vietnamese tourists to participate in special festivals and events that will take place throughout 2025. Major festivals such as the Rainforest Music Festival (June 20 - 22, 2025) in Sarawak, the George Town Festival (August 2 - 10, 2025) in Penang, the Petronas Grand Prix Of Malaysia 2025 (October 24 - 26, 2025)...
In addition, there is also the Malaysia Mega Sales shopping festival (June 15 - July 31, 2025) and many diverse cultural and culinary festivals, not only honoring the country's rich heritage but also bringing vibrant experiences, promising to be events not to be missed on your travel itinerary in Malaysia.
At the same time, Malaysia is also actively promoting MICE tourism (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) with the desire to attract more MICE delegations from Vietnam, so there will be dedicated support for MICE tourism to ensure that business travelers have a smooth and complete experience in Malaysia.

Through this campaign, Malaysia also wants Vietnamese tourists to learn more about undiscovered tourism potential, from pristine beaches to vibrant cities like Kuala Lumpur, Penang or Langkawi.
Besides exploring the natural beauty and vibrant cities, Malaysia also attracts Vietnamese tourists with special incentive programs, convenient connecting flights from Vietnam and attractive travel packages from leading travel companies in Malaysia. With the VITM Hanoi event, the Tourism Promotion Agency of Malaysia hopes to attract more Vietnamese tourists, expand the cooperative relationship between the two countries and affirm Malaysia as an ideal destination for Vietnamese tourists in 2026.
As of March 2025, there are a total of 167 direct flights per week connecting Vietnam and Malaysia. Vietnamese tourists can easily travel to Malaysia from cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Da Lat, Nha Trang and Phu Quoc with major airlines such as Malaysia Airlines, AirAsia, Batik Air, Vietnam Airlines and VietjetAir.
