The competition round of week 1, month 1, quarter 3, Road to Olympia year 25 took place this afternoon (April 20) and witnessed an exciting competition between four climbers: Nguyen Hoang Hai (Hoang Van Thu High School for the Gifted, Hoa Binh), Nguyen Hoang (Le Quy Don High School, Dong Nai), Do Xuan Thai (Phan Dinh Phung High School, Hanoi) and Vuong Phuc (Hoa An High School, Cao Bang).

In the first round - Warm-up, Nguyen Hoang made an impressive start with 65 points, while Xuan Thai followed closely behind with 45 points. Hoang Hai scored 30 points, and Vuong Phuc was a bit behind with 15 points.
The keyword to find in this week's Obstacle Course with 3 letters. The first selected horizontal row has a math question: "Simplify the expression A = (y3 – 1)/(2y – 2) – (y3 + 1)/(2y + 2) we get A = … (with y > 1)" . Nguyen Hoang and Xuan Thai scored with the answer "Y".
The second selected horizontal row has a question about the missing word in the song “Lac Hong Bloodline”.

Xuan Thai quickly rang the bell and correctly answered the obstacle's unknown number as "Snake". Thanks to that, the male student took the lead with 105 points. Nguyen Hoang had 75 points, Hoang Hai had 30 points, and Vuong Phuc had 15 points.
Not to be left behind, Hoang Hai had a spectacular performance in the Acceleration round when he answered correctly and scored 160 absolute points, bringing the total score to 190 - a spectacular leap that surprised the audience. According to information from the Organizing Committee, Hoang Hai was the first contestant to score absolute points in this round.
The scoreboard after the Acceleration round became as tense as a bowstring when Xuan Thai had 145 points, Nguyen Hoang had 135 points, while Vuong Phuc maintained 75 points.
In the final round - Finish Line, Hoang Hai with 190 points was the first contestant to enter the competition. The male student chose a question package worth 20 - 20 - 30 points, but was unsuccessful and finished with 170 points. In the first two questions, Nguyen Hoang and Xuan Thai had the right to answer, but only Xuan Thai scored.
Xuan Thai with 165 points, chose the question package with the value: 20 - 30 - 20 points. He scored points on the first and last questions and chose Hope Star in the last question. Xuan Thai came in with 225 points.
Nguyen Hoang with 125 points, chose three questions with the same value of 20 points. Nguyen Hoang let Xuan Thai win the first question; Hoang Hai had the opportunity to answer. However, Nguyen Hoang managed to score in the last question by choosing Hopeful Star to come back to position with 145 points.
Meanwhile, Vuong Phuc - the last contestant - despite his best efforts, could not create a miracle, ending the contest with 75 points.
Final results of the first week of January, third quarter, Road to Olympia 25, Do Xuan Thai (Phan Dinh Phung High School, Hanoi) won the laurel wreath with 265 points.

Nguyen Hoang Hai (Hoang Van Thu High School for the Gifted, Hoa Binh) and Nguyen Hoang (Le Quy Don High School - Tan Mai, Dong Nai) both came in second with 145 points. In third place was Tran Vuong Phuc (Hoa An High School, Cao Bang) with 75 points.
At the end of the first week of the third quarter of the 25th year, Do Xuan Thai excellently won the laurel wreath with 225 points. Nguyen Hoang and Hoang Hai tied for second place with 145 points, while Vuong Phuc finished fourth with 75 points.
