Although many AI features were available in the iOS 18.1 beta, Genmoji and ChatGPT, two highly anticipated features, were not included in this version. It is predicted that users will have to wait until iOS 18.2 to fully experience these new AI features.

An important note for users of older iPhone models is that the Apple Intelligence feature in iOS 18.1 beta will only be available on certain newer iPhone models. Supported devices include the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and the iPhone 16 series. This means that users of older iPhone models will not be able to access these advanced AI features.

For those who have registered for Apple's beta testing program, downloading and installing iOS 18.1 is quite simple. Users just need to go to Settings -> Software Update -> Public Beta Options to download this latest version to their device. However, please note that the beta version may still contain some bugs and needs to be thoroughly tested before its official release in October 2024.
