On June 25, according to the Bac Giang Provincial Electronic Information Portal, the Criminal Police Department of the Provincial Police is detaining Nguyen Van Au (born in 1974, residing in Yen Thien village, Bao Son commune, Luc Ngan district) to investigate the act of murder.

According to the investigation agency, at noon on June 24, Mr. M's family (Yen Thien village, Bao Son commune, Luc Ngan district) held a death anniversary and invited a group of construction workers, including Au, to eat and drink together.
At about 12 noon the same day, after eating and drinking, everyone went to the table to drink water when Mr. Th. (Mr. M.'s nephew) and Au had a conflict.
After that, Au was about to leave when Th., who was chasing him on a motorbike, stabbed him, but Au avoided it. Then, Au went into a resident's house, took a sharp knife and put it in his waistband before going home.
When they arrived at the area in front of Mr. M's house, the two sides continued to fight. Au used a sharp knife to stab Mr. Th. in the chest, causing the victim's death.
After committing the crime, Au went to Bao Son Commune Police to surrender.
