The first American standard MBA fully transferred in Vietnam

(NLDO)- Former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Quang Vinh assessed that possessing an AACSB-accredited MBA degree is a great competitive advantage in the labor market.

At the seminar "American management thinking: A guide for business leaders" held on November 25 in Hanoi, the Master of Business Administration (MBA) training program oriented towards American-standard digital management thinking of the University of Colorado Denver (CU Denver), a school that has been accredited by AACSB for 30 consecutive years, was officially transferred to the FSB Institute of Management and Technology,FPT Corporation.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Alexandra Greig-Duarte, Diplomatic Officer of the US Embassy in Vietnam, emphasized that the US is always committed to supporting Vietnam in the process of global integration, especially in the field of high-quality human resources - a resource that plays a decisive role in the era of technological competition.

"We believe in the future of Vietnam. Investing in education and people is the right choice. We hope that this MBA program will contribute to training new leaders for Vietnam in the digital age," Ms. Alexandra Greig-Duarte emphasized. At the same time, she affirmed that the MBA program jointly implemented by CU Denver and FSB is an important "link" in the Vietnam - US relationship.

Mr. Pham Quang Vinh, former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, former Vietnamese Ambassador to the US, who has more than 10 years of diplomatic work in the US, noted that for the past 30 years, CU Denver has continuously owned AACSB accreditation - a quality standard that only less than 10% of schools in the world have achieved. Possessing an AACSB-accredited MBA is a great competitive advantage in the global labor market, where businesses highly value personnel with a foundation of standard management and a global mindset.

Mr. Pham Quang Vinh expressed his hope that the MBA program implemented by FSB and CU Denver will create a "push" to raise Vietnam's education standards in the direction of increasingly approaching international education standards.

Graduates receive an MBA degree from CU Denver, recognized by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training and equivalent to studying in the United States.

Mr. Tran Quang Huy, Head of Training Department of FSB Institute of Management & Technology, FPT Corporation, said that the MBA program jointly implemented by CU Denver and FSB brings the entire training model to Vietnam, without shortening or changing the structure, etc. The program, curriculum, lecturers and assessment standards all follow CU Denver standards applied in the US, and are supplemented with practical situations from Vietnamese enterprises to ensure that students can "localize" American management thinking into the reality of domestic business operations.
